MaeloRO uses the classic Ragnarok Online job system: you start as a Novice and progress through job changes all the way up to 3rd, 4th, and beyond. The numbers below come straight from the Job Changer's own configuration.

3rd Job specifically requires Rebirth first — there's no way to skip straight from a Trans class to a 3rd job. Job changes are enforced in order; you can't skip a tier.

⚠️ Doram (Summoner) is not available on MaeloRO. Although the emulator supports the Doram race, adding it to the server isn't currently planned — so it's not part of the progression above.
How job changes work here
- Job changes are linear — you can't skip a tier, and each step above must be done in order.
- You need to spend all unspent skill points before the game will let you change jobs.
- Each job change grants a basic starter weapon for that job.
- Unlocking full 3rd-job skills requires talking to the 3rdjob-supreme NPC in Izlude (
@go izlude) once you meet its requirements — otherwise your character keeps 2nd-job skills only. A newer fix also allows proper job changing without visiting this NPC, but it's kept available as a fallback.
Straight from the Job Changer's own in-game disclaimer: newly implemented and 4th-job classes may have skills that are greyed out, missing visual effects, or use formulas that differ from official kRO — this is a known limitation of running Ragnarok through a browser client, not a server bug. Leveling, gear, stats, and core skills all work normally either way. Report anything broken on Discord.
